Project Description: Since 2004, Links Media has been providing technical assistance focusing on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and tuberculosis control policies to South American Infectious Disease Initiative (SAIDI) international and country partners in Bolivia, Paraguay, and Peru.

Links Media has provided technical assistance to SAIDI partners
and countries in:

• Providing market research development, implementation, and analysis

• Developing strategic and operational plans in advocacy and communications

• Developing and validating messages

• Developing materials

• Encouraging media advocacy

• Providing advocacy and resource mobilization

• Conducting monitoring and evaluation design

• Designing information, education, and communication programs

• Planning knowledge dissemination and implementation

• Developing private and public partnerships

Significant momentum has been generated thus far, highlighting the need to continue providing additional technical assistance in building the SAIDI countries’ capacity and helping them ensure that the problems of AMR and infectious disease are effectively addressed
